An Affidavit is a written statement that allows the person making it to present evidence in court or other legal proceedings. The person making the affidavit must take an oath or make an affirmation that the contents of the affidavit are true and correct.

-We cannot complete a Verification of Identity of Witness Certificates from your lender or Australian State/Territory regulatory body. The High Commission is only authorised to provide a DFAT Identity Certificate which must be performed at the same time as the witnessing and certifying functions of a land or property transaction.

Ordinary Passport (34 pages)
Validity: 10 years
You must provide original supporting documents (not certified copies)

- Current or most recent Australian passport if you have one.

Ordinary Passport (34 pages)
Validity: 10 years
You must provide original supporting documents (not certified copies)
Choose this option for an adult passport application.
A replacement passport is a reprint of an existing passport with a new passport number, applicable under limited circumstances.
The expiry date will normally be the same as the passport being replaced.
The existing passport must have at least two years validity remaining in order for a replacement passport to be issued.
Circumstances where a fee is payable
Replacement passports issued in the following circumstances will attract a fee.

Validity : The same as the passport being replaced
A replacement passport is a reprint of an existing passport with a new passport number, applicable under limited circumstances.

If you are collecting a passport on behalf of someone (other than your own child), please present an authorisation letter from the passport holder and present your photo identification upon collection.
Your cancelled passport will be returned to you together with your new passport.

If you wish to apply for a replacement passport immediately, please visit https://www.passports.gov.au. If you cannot meet the requirements for a new full-validity passport, and you need to travel urgently, you may apply for an Emergency Passport.
The Australian High Commission can issue Emergency Passports to Australians needing to travel urgently and whose passports have been stolen, damaged or lost.
The Emergency Passport may also be issued in some limited circumstances when clients are unable to wait for the delivery of a full validity passport due to the urgent need to travel. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Emergency passports are normally produced within two business days. Application Fees apply.
If you wish to apply for a replacement passport immediately, please visit https://www.passports.gov.au. If you cannot meet the requirements for a new full-validity passport, and you need to travel urgently, you may apply for an Emergency Passport.
